I read a lot of YA, especially YA fantasy, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve come to realize that there is a certain type of YA fantasy that is just too young for me. But, while the book wasn’t offensive or bad in any true way, the cover still ended up being the best part of it for me. And here, on the hand, is a book that I requested from the library purely because I spotted the cover on Goodreads and was drawn in.
